Q. Is GRA only for beginners?
A. Not at all. GRA is structured enough for newer traders to follow – but it’s designed to scale with you. Many experienced traders use it to sharpen their focus, reduce noise, and target higher reward trades with more discipline.
Q. Can I use the strategy on other time-frames and markets?
A. Yes of course. It’s always good practice to back-test it first
Q. Is the strategy mechanical enough to automate?
A. No, there are discretionary aspects that make automating the strategy extremely difficult.
Q. Does this strategy work in all market conditions?
A. No strategy works in every condition, but GRA is built to adapt to trending and volatile environments. You’ll learn when to stay out and when to strike.
Q. How many trades per week does the strategy typically produce?
A. Over the 10 day walkthrough series (available in the course), it produced on average 6 trades per half day, on one market (Gold).
Q. Is this a scalping strategy or more swing/intraday?
A. GRA is designed primarily for structured intraday trading but can be adapted to higher or lower timeframes depending on your preference and market.
Q. Can I get support if I have questions about the strategy?
A. Yes. Depending on your tier, you’ll have access to Discord rooms, live sessions, and even direct feedback from JJ in certain plans.
Q. Why is GRA based on Heikin-Ashi?
A. Heikin-Ashi filters out the noise of traditional candlesticks and makes momentum and structure easier to read. It brings clarity to trend shifts and smooths price flow – perfect for executing the high R setups GRA is built around.
Q. Does GRA work on markets other than gold?
A. Yes. While GRA was developed and refined around gold, the principles apply across many volitile markets – including indices, forex, and even crypto. Just be sure to back-test on your chosen market and timeframe.
Q. Will DTC offer candlestick-based strategies or courses in the future?
A. Yes. We’re developing a full candlestick-focused course that explores traditional candle logic, traps, and advanced price action structure. It will complement GRA and offer traders a different lens depending on their trading style.

Gold Rush Alpha provides at a minimum: a core strategy, tools, a community, and multiple trade variations for traders to customize their approach. However, this is not a shortcut to instant success – it is a structured program designed to help traders develop the skills needed to execute consistently. The ability to trade profitably comes from skill-building, not just knowledge.
Gold Rush Alpha is designed for discretionary, manual execution. It is not intended for automated or algorithmic trading systems. As such, we do not offer refunds based on poor performance resulting from attempts to automate the strategy.
To get the full benefit of Gold Rush Alpha, traders are expected to engage with the material and apply the strategy with proper judgment and context – not rely on bots or scripts.
Refund Eligibility Conditions:
To qualify for a refund, traders must:
Complete all course material available with their plan.
Backtest the strategy and log at least 60 forward-tested trades (with each trade matching the core strategy rules) before claiming the strategy is ineffective.
Demonstrate consistent execution by submitting a trade log showing adherence to the strategy.
No Refunds for:
Traders who fail to backtest and properly develop their execution skills.
Traders who claim the course “didn’t work” without completing the required trades.
Traders who struggle with psychological discipline, emotions, or failure to follow a trade plan – as these are execution-related issues, not flaws in the strategy.
Traders who fail to cancel their subscription before the next payment cycle.
